Brief Club History
In 2014 the Bayswater Lacrosse Club will be in its 75th year, an achievement any club would be proud to acknowledge. The Bayswater Lacrosse Club was established in 1939 when it became affiliated with the Western Australian Lacrosse Association, the controlling body for Lacrosse in WA. The Club was founded by local residents under the then leadership of Mr Jim Priestman.
The Club has been established at Halliday Park as a home ground continuously since 1949. We have therefore been established as a member of the Bayswater community for 75 years and based at Halliday Park for 65 years. During this time the club enjoyed a reputation as being hard working, hard playing and a healthy survivor in the City of Bayswater and the lacrosse fraternity.
The last 75 years has seen many highlights both on and off the lacrosse field, some of which are listed below:
Club Vision
The Bayswater Lacrosse Club Inc. strives towards being a success on and off the lacrosse field, being a model club and maintaining a solid input into the future of lacrosse and the community at large in Western Australia.
The members' aim is for guaranteed long term survival of the club in a successful and harmonious environment.

- The initial construction of the Bayswater Lacrosse Clubrooms in 1978
- Subsequent extensions to the Bayswater Lacrosse Clubrooms in 1993.
- Restructuring of the playing surface at Halliday Park to incorporate two full size playing fields.
- Installation of lighting at Halliday Park in 1992.
- Subsequent upgrading of that lighting in 2004.
- Improvement of parking facilities to better service the club.
- The development of a club constitution, by-laws.
- Subsequent “Incorporation” of the club.
- Incorporation of the Bayswater/Morley Women's Lacrosse Club with the Bayswater Lacrosse Club.
- Installation of high quality safety fences along both ends of Halliday Park.
- Extension to the clubrooms and new Balcony 2012.
